Hamish is a huge and squishy rat. At 10½ weeks old he already weighed over 450g
and he is well on the way to reaching 1kg! When we were introducing Owen to the lads,
we put Hamish with Owen in a neutral tank first let them get to know each other.
Hamish was really soft and let Owen take control, even though
Owen is only two-thirds his size.
Hamish is now alpha rat in his cage, but seems to manage to keep the others under control without being pushy.
Hamish is now a proud Dad! We bred him to Inki, who had 4 lovely kittens on 29 January 2003.
