She had a lot of upheaval in her life as she was imported from Holland when she was just 6 weeks old, and she moved again a couple of months later, and then again to come to live with us. She had a litter of kittens when she was with her last owner (they were just weaned when we got her), but she retired from breeding when she came to stay with us as a pet. She was very active and curious and she was a lovely rat to own. She was our first rex, with soft wavy fur, and a sweet and friendly temperament. Shortly after we moved house she appeared to contract a uterine infection (or tumour) and started to lose weight - being such a tiny rat she just didn't seem to have the strength to fight it off.
