Harry and his brother Larry were surprises, as we'd never seen Russian Pearl rats before they were born (we had thought they were Russian Doves when very young). We soon realised they were not the same as their Dove siblings and looked back at their pedigrees and realised they must be Russian Pearls. A quick chat with a breeder with more experience of these varieties soon confirmed it (this was our first non-roan based litter). Harry, like his brother, is a beautiful and nicely tempered buck - and he was shown in Taunton pet classes in late 2007.
