Kelty is a lovely, relaxed and people-friendly doe.
She is very similar to her aunt, Heather, in looks and personality.
She has extremely soft and shiny fur. We bred Kelty to Moffat,
and she had a litter of 12 babies (11 survived) on 9 August 2003.
We kept two does (New Lightning and Starr) and a buck (Thistle) from the litter.
She was an excellent Mum, despite giving birth the afternoon before the hottest day in the UK since records began. We had planned to breed her again, but just didn't want to risk it, as she's far too special.
