Dudley is a large and squishy cinnamon buck, bred by Julia Edwards. We bought him mainly to keep Harris company - Harris was the only buck kitten in his litter, and we thought he would be happier to have a friend of his own age, rather than being introduced to a cage of adult bucks by himself. (Both boys did later move in with 3 older bucks.) Dudley is a relaxed rat, but not as lazy as some of our other boys, and nothing seems to upset him, probably as he was brought up in a house with children around. He's slightly darker in colour than a cinnamon really should be, but he's very handsome and has had some successful show appearances. We bred him to New Lightning early in 2004, and they had six lovely agouti and black kittens. He is named after Dudley in the West Midlands, near where he was born. By chance, we rehomed one of his aunts, Bel Bel in February 2004.
