Rexy and Wesley were both from a pet shop in Taunton. We should really have learnt our lesson about pet shop rats after Owen and his very bad health, but we really liked these two and gave in. We've definitely learnt now though - not only did they both arrive covered with lice, Wesley had poor general health almost from the start. He died of a respiratory infection at only around 20 months old. Wesley was quite a small and active buck, who got on very peacefully with his cagemates, Paddy and Rexy.
