Repton and Newton were bred by Beverley Whitby, but came back to her from their first home in August 2003, as their new owner wasn't getting on with them. We decided that we would take them. At first they were both very nervous, as their previous owner hadn't really handled them, but they both started to relax after a few days, and they settled in after a few weeks. Newton was braver than his brother, and got used to us more quickly - I think this was partly due to him needing a course of Baytril antibiotic for a respiratory infection, shortly after he arrived. This meant he was handled twice a day for a couple of weeks, where his brother only came out once a day.
