Ferret was a lovely Siamese buck, who although we didn't breed ourselves, was lent out on stud to Hakuna Matata Rattery. He had a lovely temperament. Sadly he died under anaesthetic. He was not ill himself, but was having a blood test to look for any possible infection, as we'd lost a large number of our rats to a possible virus in the previous 2-3 weeks. All the tests came back negative, so we don't know if he was just immune, or there was another infection which we didn't test for.
