Catena came to live with us after the Eltham show on 28 February 2004. Before we chose a name for her, we nicknamed her Teeny, as she was small and it sounded like her breeder's name, Tina. We then chose her real name, Catena, to fit with the soils theme, started by Mull and Mor, plus she got to keep her nickname. She settled in well with 4 younger kittens once she'd proved to them that she was in charge, and within a couple of days they all seemed to be good friends. She is one of those "springy" and active does; never content to sit still, she is always on the go.

We had originally hoped to breed Teeny to Thistle, but unfortunately this was not to be. She will stay with us as a pet, possibly making an occasional appearance in the pet class at shows - although as yet we haven't shown her at all.
