Oslo was a large and gentle buck. He lived quite peacefully with 6 other bucks of approximately the same age - he never seemed to be in the middle of any trouble. He was always happy to come out and play, he was one of the more active boys in his group. He went to a few shows, although had a couple of wheezy spells, so we didn't show him very often and we had decided against breeding him for the same reason.
Oslo died suddenly in his hammock on 14 October 2004. He hadn't shown any particular signs of illness in the days before he died, so what happened is a bit of a mystery. He was buried in our garden with Repton, another husky buck, who died the day before him.
