Corrie was a lovely doe, who always got on well with her cagemates. She lived with her Mum Cherry all her life
(except when she had her litter), along with a few other does. She was always easy to introduce to other rats, and never
caused any trouble. She was bred to Alpha Centauri Paris, and went to stay with him for a couple of weeks for the mating. She didn't
particularly like being away from home on her own and she bit me when I went to collect her, which was completely out of character.
Fortunately this was a one off!
Corrie had generally very good health, although developed a mammary tumour near one of her back legs
when she was about two. It didn't grow very quickly, but eventually as she got older and weaker, it restricted her
movement and didn't seem comfortable. We had her put to sleep with her Mum on 16 May 2006.
