Tatty came to us as a rescue, and he was so nervous he ran and hid every time we walked into the room. His skin was in poor condition and he just looked "tatty". We worked on gently handling him for a few minutes daily, and he started to learn to trust us after a few weeks. He improved to the extent where he now hangs from the cage bars wanting attention, and he is extremely licky.
He is now very confident, and we were very pleased when he won "best pet" in his very first show! He has grown considerably since we got him, and his skin has improved too.
