Twig is a really friendly and beautiful rat. She takes after her mum, Mor, very much in temperament. She totally
surprised up by winning Best in Show at her very first show, the Bradford Championships. This is one of the biggest and most
important shows in the NFRS calendar - Twig had her photo taken and I was asked to write an article for Fur and Feather
magazine (published March 2005, to read it, click here). She won a lovely
collection of cups and rosettes which I hope to take a photo of for our website. She almost repeated this success
the following week with 3rd place overall at MRC Kettering, and again at Cardiff.
Twig took a break from showing to be a mum, something she was equally good
at. She then made a comeback in the pet classes, although now she is getting older, we will probably just stick to local
shows from now on.
